They were each excited to get the number of their age!
Since Jessica hasn't started Kindergarten, they let her play in the 3-4 age group and put her and Taylor on the same team! I of course am having a ball with this arrangement. Only one game to attend, and two kids entertained for approx. one hour! They are loving it. Jessica is of course being the big sister has explained to Taylor all the rules and how the game is played, but with his age, its perfect. He struggled a little last night at their first game, as we were all yelling "get the ball" he dove in the huddle and picked up the ball, all excited that he "got it." His coach explained to him that he couldn't use his hands. The coach was super nice about it, but it sure hurt Taylor's feelings. He walked off the field in tears. (I have it on video if I can figure it out, its a heart string tugger.) We're excited to see how he does the next game :)

That is so sweet to have Jess there to help Taylor...I'm sure it makes it more fun for him. And so nice to have only one game to get them to. I'm dying to get Madi signed up for soccer too, but we can't until Fall soccer starts, darn it!
awww so cute! Olivia can't wait to play soccor, but here they only take 4 year olds and up:( You HAVE to put on that video, it sounds so cute! The kids look so adorable in their uniforms!!!
