Camping

 We went camping with all our Chinese Study Group buddies the end of July up at Causey Dam.  We had such a wonderful time.  This group of kids get along so well.  I had packed a bunch of different activities to help keep them entertained, but having each other was entertainment enough!

We ended the night with some yummy s'mores!

The next morning included, an absolutely delicious breakfast complete with bacon and french toast,  and jump rope competitions. We then headed to the dam for some canoeing, and kayaking.

I neglected to grab my camera so we don't have any pictures...though it may have been for the best as near the end of our canoe trip up the reservoir, Jess wanted to jump out and swim to her friends so Phil had us all lean to the other side...well, as soon as Jess went out one side, we went out the other!  Tyson was sound asleep and did not appreciate the rude awakening. 

It was such a fun trip with such wonderful friends.

Hoping to make it a tradition!!
