Believe it or not, I am officially 34 years old! Phil and I went to dinner to celebrate, and then I thought we were headed to a movie. He made up some excuse to go home to get a coupon for dessert, and then pretended that his brother called him, at just the right moment, and asked me to run inside to get it. Little did I know, waiting inside were my friends and the materials for gingerbread houses! After being genuinely surprised, we had a great time visiting with friends and building away...
My darling friend Brandy and her husband Jeff. She was an integral piece to Phil's plan and went to a huge effort to set up all the food, and even made special frosting for the houses. Thanks Brandy!

Jill and BrianIt was such a fun birthday. I was very impressed with Phil and how he pulled of the surprise! He was so cute and had been planning it for some time. He had a list of all the things he needed and I'm amazed at all the detail he put into making the perfect birthday. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!
