Festive Fun

Taylor got a remote control truck from Grandma & Grandpa Kimball. There are definite advantages to being married to a 35 year old who sometimes can be 12. We pulled out his Hummer for Tanner to have a truck as well. Let the fun begin. We even put up the baby gate so they wouldn't drive them down the stairs, moved the table and chairs, and the kitchen became their racing arena!
It didn't take Phil long to make a jump, and then realize that with his Hummer he could jump pretty far. After trying it out with 6 or 7 stuffed animals, he let Jessie and Taylor take their place. There was a learning curve involved... the first jump went off side ways and hit Taylor and then Jessica right in the forehead. It didn't hurt them, but for at least an hour afterward you could see tire tracks on their faces :)
Thanks to a Cocoa Latte Machine from our dear friends the Seamans, we have been enjoying lots and lots, and lots.... of hot chocolate! Daddy was making it extra fun by throwing marshmallows into their mouths!
The kids got some money from their Great Grandparents for Christmas. They picked out a new sled...to save daddy's back!
Here they are writing Thank you notes to their Great Grands...
Making sure they all fit!
(now let's just hope we get lots of snow!)

What fun memories we are making together! You need to archive this blog and put it in a time capsule, it's priceless. Thanks for making each tomorrow an adventure, we are having quite the journey. Loves, Phil
