University of Utah Hospital Open House....

Our little family had the opportunity to tour the University Of Utah Hospital's Open House for their new addition. It's a great addition to the Hospital. A lot of thought has gone into making the new areas patient friendly.
There is a new maternity ward!! No more shared rooms! Now if only I can talk Phil into letting us try it out... I think I deserve that after 2 of the three recoveries were in shared rooms!
{I believe I do have to clarify that no one was in the shared room with us, but it was more the principle of the fact that there was always the possibility that there could be!}

Peter Brienholt was providing the entertainment for the Open House. He is one of Jessica's favorite musicians...second only to Uncle Dave! Her favorite song is "You Wear Flowers." So Phil, being the awesome dad that he is, went and made a request. I'm not sure Peter was taking requests, but he was polite and kind as ever, and made Jessica's day!
