We had 'tickets' tonight to see the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It is absolutely beautiful. When I was talking earlier in the day, with the kids, about the opportunity we had to see inside the temple where they could be married, Taylor piped in with: "Mom, the "Ogre" Mountain Temple is where "ogres" can go to be married!
I got a good chuckle out of that one, because if you don't know how its spelled it really could sound like "Ogre" Mountain!
Going through the temple with the kids, taught me that I'm not doing as good of job about explaining things as I thought I was... I was telling Taylor that we had to be reverent because the temple is Heavenly Father's house and that we can feel His Spirit there. When we walked in and saw the amazing chandelier hanging just inside the entrance, Taylor asked "Mom, is that Jesus' Spirit?"
Then as we entered the baptismal font, he questioned: "Mom, is that the bathtub where people get bathtized?"
I'm thinking that either I need to speak more clearly or we need to get his hearing checked! The kids were amazing and the temple was outstanding. Even though it hasn't yet been dedicated, there is a special spirit there, and I'm sure the kids could feel it too. It was a wonderful evening, and it made me ever so grateful to know that I'll be spending eternity with my little entourage!
To top it all off, when we got home Taylor produced a pair of "boxers" from his pocket that his sweet Aunt Tif had passed down from her boys. He loves these "boxers" and tries to wear them everyday. They are really pajama bottoms. Apparently, he had them secretly hidden, stuffed in his pocket! So now Taylor's "boxers" have had a trip through the Temple!

Taylor kills me! He is so funny! Wher does he come up with that stuff, I agree with Jill you might want to get his ears checked. But the boxer's thing just put me over the edge, hilarious!!!!
