Playing catch-up...

I'm not quite sure where June went, but here's a little of what we've been up to:

Jessica "graduates" from Kindergarten
After three months of practicing, the "pay-off" @ the Conference Center as our Stake performs @ the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Celebration. Pictured above are the youth in our ward who participated.
We managed to fit in some swimming between rain storms :)
Happy Birthday to Kaden: June 7th
We attended the airshow at Hill Air Force Base; featuring the Thunderbirds
Phil and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary in Washington DC!
Here we are in front of the Supreme Court Building. Our hotel was only two blocks away from the Capitol Building, the Supreme Court and Library of Congress. We were there for 6 days and had an amazing time in such a beautiful and historic city.
Its hard to tell, but this is us in the Capitol Building overlooking the National Mall. This was the highlight of the trip for me. We scheduled a tour and it was very educational. Right out this arch is where the presidents give their inaugural addresses.
The Enterprise Shuttle at the Air and Space Museum @Dulles Airport. We were able to visit all of the Smithsonians, Arlington National Cemetery, and enjoyed a special tour of the Pentagon (Thank you Garrett).
We rented a tandem bike and visited the White House, took a 28 mile round trip down the C&O Canal, and visited all the monuments. We figured we logged at least 40 miles on the tandem bike. It was a blast, but with how sore our backsides were, a once in a lifetime experience! It was so wonderful to have Phillip to myself for 6 whole days. We have hundreds of pictures, walked what felt like a hundred miles, but made me so grateful he's mine for hundreds of years! A big thank you to all of our family who helped with our little ones so we could get away...
Happy Father's Day! The kids all decorated a tie for Phil to wear to church on Sunday- an annual Primary Activity.
We "remodeled" our front yard. Above: the before picture. Below: the after pictures/including it all lit up at night. We were so grateful to get rid of all the water. It was beautiful, but not only a hazard, a lot of maintenance...

We attended the Fireworks @ Taylorsville Dayzz!
Youth Conference @ Fountain Green, UT. We attended the Manti Pageant, had amazing workshops on the Life of Christ, and did a service project @ the Temple.
Liz, Trinda, and I in front of the Manti Temple
(3 leaders, and 9 girls attended).Happy Birthday Remi! : June 28th
And last but not least: Girls Camp was this past week! This is the "girls" playing "dots" with the Bishop and 1st Counselor. It was a wonderful week. We have the most amazing camp director, even with rain everyday it went off without a hitch!

Looking forward to life hopefully slowing down a little over the next two months, and the weather improving so we can enjoy SUMMER!
Stay tuned...
