Phil and I bought this snowmobile the year after we were married. It has been the best machine for our little family. We use it every year to take us the the Kimball's Cabin for sledding and get togethers, for fun outings, and crazy adventures. Phil was so excited Saturday to go Snowmobiling by himself, for (this is unprecedented...due to my surgery) the first time this season! When the kids saw him loading all his gear to go, they both ran to the closet to get their snow gear as well. They were both in tears when they found out that it was just daddy's turn. We thought a picture of them on the snowmobile would suffice, but Jessica was soon dressed in all her gear, giving daddy her big eyes begging to go. It was tough, but Phil pulled out of the drive-way with out them. Two hours later, after he made it to the pond where he had cell service, he called and asked me to bring Jess and Taylor up, he couldn't get those "big eyes" out of his head and was missing having someone to talk to. 45 minutes later we met daddy up the canyon with two very excited kids. I drove back down to get Tanner from my parents to have a little one on one time with the little guy. Three hours later, Phil returned with precious cargo in tow. He pulled Taylor from the car who screamed when he saw me "Mom, it was AWESOME!" Apparently, daddy let each of them have a turn to drive the snowmobile. It made their day. In fact the story has been retold several times, each with a little bit more of an embellishment about how far and how well they drove. These memories are what life is all about!!

I am jealous! I would LOVE to have a snowmobile. McKay would love to have an ATV. I guess it doesn't really matter since we don't have the money for either right now?! What fun memories! What a great dad too...sacrificing his day out to be with the kids.
