On July 22nd, we were able to go to a Salt Lake Bees Game on behalf of HDI, a group that Phil is Regional Director for. They provided dinner and drinks, with a great view of the game.
After awhile the kids wanted to go down to our seats. Phil and I were enjoying the view ;)
And getting to sit next to each other!
HDI, had a bunch of drawings for prizes. We ended up winning three prizes and Phil went and exchanged them for bats and balls for the kids. They were in heaven.
Tyson has an extreme fear of anyone in costume. He spent the entire game worried about where the Bee was. Bumble came close enough to where we were sitting that the kids wanted to get his autograph on their new baseballs. Tyson was reduced to tears. There was no way he was going to get close to that Bee. Tanner was such a sweet big brother and offered to take Tyson's bat down with his own, so that Tyson could have Bumble's signature. Tyson was thrilled!...once in the safety of his own home!
