World's Greatest Grandma

Phil and I feel so blessed to have such amazing and generous people in our lives.  One such person is Phil's mom.  Margot.  She was so sweet to stay with the kids while we were gone.  We did give her the weekend off, while they were at my parents, but can't express how grateful we were to have her here.  We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing they were in good hands.  But, she did even more than just keep them happy and fed.  She had a little Family Home Evening Lesson with them both Monday evenings we were gone, brought activities to do with them (one included pom pom guns which entertained them for hours), played with them, taught them songs and games, snuggled with them, and made them feel loved and cared for. She was amazing with the weeks schedule.  I had left her 12 pages of schedules and notes for the upcoming week and she had the kids doing their homework, completing their reading, off to piano lessons, went to Jessica's Walk of Fame (with Tanner and Tyson!), attended the kids Choir Concert, and had them up and ready for school, my laundry done when we got home, and the entire house cleaned.  What an amazing surprise and treat to come home to.  This one brought tears to my eyes...we were able to 'face time' the kids between our ipads to see them and talk with them each day.  Tuesday morning, the day after we left the kids were so excited! That night at FHE they had planted cheerios.  When they got up the next morning the cheerios had grown into a donut tree! Which they enjoyed for breakfast.  Margot is the World's Greatest Grandma!  Phil and I almost feel a little bit spoiled having her as a grandma to our kids.  She puts so much thought and care into being a grandma.  Her and her friends even get together to share ideas for being wonderful grandmas!  How cool is that.  I hope to be that kind of Grandma someday...
A huge thank you to my parents as well, as they had all four kids together over the weekend!  We couldn't have gotten away without you.

Wow, that is awesome! Everyone should have a grandma like that. I bet she loved every minute of it! It sounds like she is the kind of grandma that would!
