Taylor celebrated with a "Star Wars" themed birthday this year. Thanks to 'Lego Star Wars' its pretty much all he talks about these days. Its so fun to get lost in his sense of imagination. He turned 5 years old. We woke up early and did presents, etc. before Daddy went to work. Later in the day he asked me when his birthday was? I told him it was today. He said, "well, then when are my friends coming?" We decided long ago only to have birthday parties on even years (so only two kids have a party each year :) . This was hard to explain to a 5 year old who wanted his friends to come celebrate with him. Luckily, good friends dropped by later, to make his day special!
This was a poster he made at school. You can tell we're teaching him correct principles with what he wants to be when he grows up!
Luckily, he got two clone trooper costumes for his birthday (thanks Tif, and grandma!). He and Tanner have had so much fun running around in these. We have no fear of anyone invading the house... Who needs an alarm system with these two on duty?
