Viva Las Vegas...

The one picture Phil and I have of us in Vegas!
Okay... there are different variations of the same picture, but they're essentially the same picture. Alas, taking pictures of myself enjoying complete relaxation and 78 degree weather, sunning by the pool wasn't top on my list. It was a wonderful 4 days, for me. Phil was there for an HDI (Help Desk Institute) Conference, so he was busy all day in classes, while I took advantage of my parents having the kids and the warm weather. Our last night there we attended a "Beach Party" hosted by his Conference. It was a lot of fun. There was food, bingo, characatures, airbrush tattoos, palm readers, Boogie Bodies DVD's and to top it all off an open bar! So along with getting a good laugh at all the people who may have had too much to drink, we got our characature done, and did a DVD. The DVD is a hoot. I wish I could download it here for your viewing pleasure, but its in the wrong format, so you'll have to request a private viewing if you're ever in the neighborhood...

P.S. Two books I highly recommend reading: 'The Kite Runner', and 'The Last Lecture.' Disclaimer: both may cause tears, so if you're leery of crying in public; read in the privacy of your own home... Instead of at a public pool sitting by yourself in the sun :)

What, no air brush tattoo?! Are you holding out for a real one? I'm so glad you were able to have some R&R just for yourself, every mom needs that! Love the drawing! And the pictures of your kids in shoes are too cute, love the last one. No denying photos, Phil! We so need to get together for dinner! I promise I'll call. This week is bad though.

What a fun trip. One of these days I will be able to tag along with Nick. Anything would be relaxing if I am not answering the constant, "MOM!!" call.
