Taylor's reaction to seeing his new "haircut"
Taylor and his friend Caden were downstairs with Jessica while I was visiting with Caden's mom, Jill, upstairs. The kids came running upstairs letting us know that Jessica had decided to give Taylor a haircut. The day before they were playing barbershop at Caden's house with a Batman cape and tinkertoys, so I wasn't concerned, until I got a better look at Taylor's head. This time Jessica had opted for real scissors instead of tinkertoys. There was a huge patch of his hair missing, down to the scalp. Jessica knows better so this week she's lost several of her privileges, while Taylor lost the rest of his hair. I had a fireside last night, so Phil buzzed him while I was away. I came home and went to peek on Taylor sleeping soundly. I almost cried, he looks completely bald with his blonde hair. Earlier, he put into perspective,"it will grow back!!"

I think haircuts like that must be a right of passage for growing up. If it makes you feel any better when Zach was a baby Ben was giving him a haircut, and Zach knocked the attachment off the clippers and thus, got a surgical shave through the middle of his head. It was horrible! I should e-mail you pic's...don't worry it really does grow back.
You can't stop it! Kids know how to use scizzos better than we'd like! At least he has a good head for a buzzz-cut - totally pulls it off! Good job looking on the bright side, Tay!

Your kids are so beautiful they don't need hair....even my sister commented on how beautiful they are when she saw your Christmas card.

Oh my! It has to happen to each kid it seems. Maybe Jessica has already chosen her profession for when she grows up ;) Hope you are doing well.
atleast it was taylor... ainslee cut her own hair last may ans it still hasn't grown out... girls...
Yeah, I have to agree, at least it was Taylor! It was an easy fix! He looks so cute anyways!
He looks cute. He always does. At least Jess didn't cute her own hair:) Now that's when I would cry!
