As I was away last weekend. Phil had all three kids to himself! We had talked about not putting up the Christmas tree this year because of Tanner's age. 14 months is not conducive to keeping ornaments on the tree. I got home late Saturday night to a wonderful surprise!... Christmas music playing in the background and the tree up, lit, and decorated!! The best part is they are homemade decorations and most are edible. That way if Tanner does attack the tree, it will only fill his tummy. I think its our best looking tree yet! What a sweet treat to come home to. And I have to mention the house was super clean... Way to go Phil!

The finished product!!P.S. I love that all the kids got in on the decorating. Especially Jessica. I called home Friday night at 10:30pm to find her still awake... Phil said they had been up playing games and visiting... not entirely true. Sweet Jessica had been stringing fruit loops for over 3 hours. Child labor laws? No one call DCFS... She loved it!!

Your tree is awesome and very yummy looking. If I could just get decorationis on my tree we'd be in good shape here. The kids look like they had a great time- way to go Phil!
What a GREAT idea! The kids look like they had a blast!
Phil is so awesome! What a great idea! I love how the kids got to be so involved too, you guys are just so adorable. We combated that poblem by usin only shatterproof ornaments on the bottom half of the tree - not as fun as edible ornaments, but safer at least!
