We're Having a Ball...

And we were ready to PARTY!!

As you all probably know, I love themes. For Tanner's first birthday, due to a great find at Party City's clearance aisle, we opted for a ball themed party to celebrate! Following tradition, we were at the Kimball Family Cabin for Conference weekend, and decided to take advantage of the beautiful natural setting for our party. Do keep in mind that it was a balmy 39 degrees outside--maybe not the best weekend for that natural of a setting! On our way up to the party Tanner's tummy must have gotten a little too excited to dig into that yummy cake and he got sick (thus the pajamas in all the pictures--yet due to my theme OCD, they do fit as they have footballs on them!--just to make you really cringe-our little family were all wearing sports themed shirts :) Tanner slept through most of the party, but woke up just in time for cake and icecream, and some beautiful serenading by our wonderful family. Then it was time for presents....

A big thank-you to everyone for their sweet gifts. Tanner is going to be one stylin' little guy, as he's cruising the neighborhood in his buggy, while chatting on his cell phone :)

Happy First Birthday!!

Because of you, life is a ball!
