The following night we headed to a Salt Lake Bees game for Phil's work. What a beautiful night for a baseball game. The kids had the best time trying to catch fly balls with their hats :) There is definitely a learning curve to her camera!
The next morning I got up bright and early to see our YW off on Trek. I wasn't able to go this year as Tanner is still tied to his mom. My trek came before the actual trek with getting all their clothes sewn. A big thank you to my mom who helped with aprons and bonnets. I definitely logged enough miles on my sewing machine--if only that counted toward the 'Trail of Faith' award...Our little family then took a picnic lunch to a cute little park in Draper and then hiked up a canyon next to it. It was a beautiful hike and the kids loved throwing rocks in the river.

Then it was on to Grandma & Grandpa Kimballs for a fun afternoon of swimming. It was so fun to have all the cousins there. All bakers dozen of them!
Friday our little family took a bike ride along the Jordan Parkway. It was blazing hot, but we had such a great time with the kids. Jessica was such a trooper on her bike, and the boys loved being together in the trailer. We stopped at Gardner Village to enjoy our picnic lunch and enjoyed every minute of being together.
Tonight Jessica, Tanner, and my brother Randy & I headed to Roy, for the Miss Roy pageant. A good friend of mine who I recently set up with Randy, was competing in the pageant. She looked absolutely beautiful. She's one of those people who are as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. I love being around her because she radiates confidence and poise and has the sense of humor to match. She made 2nd Attendant and won the Miss Congeniality Award. Way to go Erica!!
