'I Ain't Gonna Paint No More'

Grandma Kimball has been planning a top secret activity for all the grandkids and today was the day they've all been anxiously awaiting. It started of with lunch-- a very colorful lunch. She had all kinds of colored dishes, food (including green jello with colorful fishes!), even dessert! Then she had all the kids sit down and she read them a story...

All of the grandkids (Tanner and Jayma were too little to participate and Austin was at Scout Camp)

It was a darling story about a little guy who couldn't resist painting everything--including himself. So grandma got out the watercolor paints and paintbrushes and the kids went to town painting themselves and each other (as long as they had permission :))
Jessica started with her lips!
Lauren with Zebra stripes!

The girls were excited to even paint their hair!!
Jacob & Spencer AvaryTanner observing all the funFinished Masterpieces :)
Grandma had this bucket filled up and waiting so the kids could wash off all the paint... before swimming. Taylor and Will found it be quite cozy! The kids had so much fun and couldn't wait to get home to tell Daddy all about their special day--Thanks Grandma!!

Whaht a fun idea! I might have to steal it. The kids are itching for more fun and summer is only half over. We are too used to the 3 week summers we got on a year-round schedule.
