Rachael Ray Show/Getting the Gig

 So about 2 years ago, when I had time to watch tv while nursing Tyson, I saw a request on the Rachael Ray show for twins who were interested in a make-over.  I just had a baby, as did Becky so at the time we were in need of a make-over!  I signed us up, and quickly forgot about it.  Fast forward to January 2nd, 2013, when I get a call from a producer {Bridget} at the Rachael Ray show to see if we would still be interested. Ummm, YES!!  Bridget asked me to submit some pictures of us growing up and current day...and she said the more the merrier!  Her mistake ;)  Here is a little of what she got in her inbox, with the note...If you're going to commit a fashion faux pas, its nice to have your best friend suffer with you...

 This is what Becky alluded to with her comment on the show...to help out those who couldn't tell us apart, for many years most of my wardrobe matched Becky's but was red and hers was blue...hence the nicknames: Rachael Red & Becky Blue...hint, hint!

This was the picture we submitted after Becky's friend Tami helped us look a little more "identical".  Bridget called the next morning to let us know we were 100% confirmed for the show!!

We were excited!  Who wouldn't be with a free trip to New York, and some of the top stylists booked to give you a new look.  A couple days later all our travel was arranged and a week after they confirmed us we were on our way to New York City to film a spot on the Rachael Ray Show!
