Spring Break

For Spring Break this year, we joined our good friends the Seamans for a week in St. George!
On the way down our little family stopped at Cove Fort for some lunch and an excellent tour.  I had never been there and thoroughly enjoyed learning the history of this amazing fort that was built in 7 months...by hand!
We had big plans for our Break...
Having fun while relaxing.
We accomplished just that...
The first day we hit the courts...
Tanner was the photographer ;)
 Fiesta Fun.
The kids had a blast playing mini golf, riding the Bumper Boats, and playing the arcade games...
Waiting their turn for the boats.
Swimming: We fit this in just about whenever we could. The weather was beautiful. We were soaking up all the wonderful vitamin D.
This was Tyson's first time in a pool.  Loved it!
Samantha and Tanner
These two were a hoot.  They are such cute friends.

Hiking.
The dads took the "older" kids hiking while Tyson enjoyed a nap, I enjoyed a good book, and Brandy and Samantha enjoyed some shopping!

Tanner was the navigator.
Sweet darling Taylor loves to draw. Especially animals.  So while everyone was enjoying a treat, he took the chance to draw a picture of the lizard from the sign.
Our timing was great. Remi, Mindy, and Paxton were down later in the week for Easter weekend in St. George and met up with us one afternoon for a little swimming!
Crazy.  The kids had a little plastic container for collecting bugs, insects, etc.  The last morning we were there, they went out to check on their roly poly's and discovered a friend.  Inside the container was a toad.  They all took turns feeling it and those that were brave enough, holding it.  Taylor as previously mentioned is currently going through an animal phase.  After everyone had a turn, we let the cute little toad go.
Taylor was bummed we couldn't take it home so he left 'Hop' a message: "I Love You." He started with the 'I' realized he wouldn't have enough room to spell it to the right, so he decided to do it backwards!
Love that little guy.
Overall, the vacation was perfect.  The kids all got along.  The adults too ;) We took turns having a night out for dinner and the temple, stayed up late visiting, making bows, swimming, playing, shopping, enjoyed delicious food, beautiful weather and great company!
