Six Years Old!

Taylor is currently obsessed with raccoons.
So naturally, he asked for a raccoon party for his 6th birthday.
Surprisingly, there isn't a raccoon themed party section at Zurchers! So, we winged it...
Raccoon Party Hats      &  Party Bags (tail included :)
Taylor even helped with the decorations and drew 6 different pictures of raccoons...
We started off with snacks then a sort of relay race...
They were raccoons trying to get to the garbage can @ the end for food.  They had to climb up the slide, get into the house, shimmy through the tunnel and then find the food hidden in the trash.
Then it was time for a variation of hide and seek where most of the raccoons were hiding in the dark (hard to tell with the flash ;) and then one raccoon would use his/or her night vision (aka head lamp) to find the others.  The kids could have played this all day.  Thankfully, my sweet husband surprised me and came home to help me with the party.  He is a wiz @ keeping kids entertained and they loved having him help them hide!

Then face painting!

Time for presents...
And cake and ice cream!

Overall, a very successful Raccoon Celebration!
