FHE Success...???

Thanks to my friend Alicia and Sugardoodle.net, we had a wonderful FHE lesson that the kids loved and I was amazed at not only what they understand about the gospel, but the neat conversations we've had about the Savior since.
We started off with an Easter Egg Hunt. Except our eggs weren't filled with candy. They were filled with things about the Savior life found here.

They each got to find 4 eggs and then we sat down to learn about the real reason we celebrate Easter. The kids got to help open the eggs and they actually listened and we didn't once have to ask them to sit down, or to stop touching their brother ;) It was touching to see their reaction to how the Savior was treated during the events that led up to the resurrection.
Being placed in the "tomb"
While we waited the "three days" for the stone to be rolled away from the tomb, we made Easter Basket decorations. Tanner decided where we should put them!
I was a little nervous our rolls wouldn't work, but they turned out to be a great success, and a wonderful object lesson for the kids...
Here's the empty tomb.
Tanner showing me how Christ's body was no longer there, He had risen.

What a wonderful start to the Easter Holiday...

A great idea! I've done the Easter egg things before, but would love the recipe for Resurrection rolls. Sounds like a good evening of learning.
