Approximately, 6 years ago, Phil helped his brother Andrew put a yard in at his new home. In payment for his help, and along with some birthday money from his Parents, Phil bought a canoe! This canoe was the last thing moved out of our last house, and the first thing moved into our new house, with its own unique pulley system (designed by Phillip himself!), to keep it hanging in the garage, were it limits our ability to get out of the car on one side. How many times have we used the aforementioned canoe in six years??? Not a once....until Saturday!!
We took our lovely red and white (Go Utes!) canoe to Daybreak Lake with some friends. It was quite the adventure taking the kids all the way around the lake, as Tanner thought he needed to help paddle, but it was fun to actually get the canoe down, use it, and have a great time doing it! The lake was so neat, and the kids had a wonderful time playing in the water, and at the playground.

I love it! Well, at least you used it once now it can sit for another 6 years. That is so funny!
