(l to r: Brooklin, Tate, Logan, Jarrett, Jess, Grayson, & Isabella)
These are Jessica's friends from the neighborhood who are all starting Kindergarten with her (one went to the wrong door so we missed a picture with him and 2 are in the afternoon session). Jessica, Grayson, & Renton (not pictured) have Mrs. Haslam. The others have Miss Schmidt.
Not only is Jessica loving having so many good friends in Kindergarten with her, but the moms are too. I had a brunch at my house following dropping them off the first day, and it was so fun to visit and support each other through our no looking back plunge into school projects and homework!

Picking her up from her first day! She had so much fun. She seems so grown-up lately. I just wish she could remember what she did each day :) She seems to forget as soon as she leaves the school doors... Good thing her memory usually comes back after a good lunch and then she's ready to share!

Yay, Jess!!! We're so proud of you!!! Savanna is loving kindergarten so much, I know Jess will too! She's so good about doing her homework as soon as she gets home - who knew there would be so much homework in kindergarten? Things certainly do change from when we were young:) I have the same problem with trying to get her tell me about her day, so I usually ask as many random questions as I can come up with and I can get a vague picture of it! ("what did you eat for lunch?" "who did you play with at recess?" "What book did the teacer read to you?") That helps:) Give her a big hug from all of us!!!

Kids grow up way too fast. I think it must be a kid thing to not remeber what you did the whole day of school. All my kids have done it. They still do it. I asked Grace what she did today, she says, "Science." I think you did science all day long? I think they just remember their favorite parts. My boys answer, "I forgot." they are just too busy. We do need to plan something. I want to plan a girl's night out. I'll call you.
This will be me next year...they grow up so fast, don't they? All I want to know is, did you cry? ;-)
Congrats Jess! (And congrats Rachael for actually letting her go :)
Boy Kamryn must be really short for her age since Jessica is taller then her and Jessica is one of the shorter kids in the group pictue, but the cutest! Congrats!
