St. George & Zions

Can't quite get past my addiction for dressing them alike...good thing they're too little to protest !

We had a wonderful time down in Southern Utah May 15th-17th. We drove down Thursday afternoon. My cute brother Randy made the mistake of riding with us...poor kid got trapped into helping answer "are we there yet" 100+ times! The kids did great for about 2 hours then we had to take a little break in Fillmore and let them run around for awhile. What normally use to take us approx. 4 hours (w/out children), took well over 5.5 hours (w/children). Needless to say it was a good test run for us, and we have since purchased airline tickets to San Diego for our Kimball Family Vacation in August :) We spent Thursday night checking out the outlets, and Friday met up with my brother Ryan and family who flew a red eye in from Hawaii to Vegas where my parents met them and brought them to St. George. We played in the pool and took advantage of the nice weather. My brother Russ and his wife Liana met us that night and of course the girls had to head off to the outlets for just a bit of shopping! Saturday morning, it was up and at 'em to get all packed up and checked out, and off to Zions. Zions is absolutely gorgeous. It was a beautiful time of the year to be there. In fact there were several flowers in bloom, which only bloom two weeks out of the year! We did the River Walk, and Weeping Rock trails. The kids were amazing troopers. It was a wonderful weekend. We're so glad Ryan and his family will be here for about 3 weeks. We'll definitely take advantage while they are here.
